Reiki (spiritually guided energy) is an ancient Japanese energy-based healing system founded by Mikao Usui in the early 1900's. Usui's system of healing originally began as a spiritual practice (attached to no specific religion or dogma) into which Mikao Usui later also incorporated palm-healing. It is currently the fastest growing energy therapy in the world, with the numbers of people seeking a qualified practitioner increasing daily.

Reiki can be safely and effectively used with any and all health care modalities, without interfering with traditional health care treatments. It is offered in major hospitals around the globe, with doctors and nurses earning CEUs (continuing education units) for learning the practice.

Reiki can be learned and applied by anyone. Upon completion of Usui Reiki Level 1, the student is capable of treating himself and others, including pets and animals. The committment and focus of Level One students is on self-healing.

Who Takes Sabrina's Reiki Classes?

Everyone! People from all walks of life find their way here: school teachers, college students, massage therapists, mental health professionals, the physically disabled, sales people, government workers, politicians, stay-at-home moms and dads, ministers/clergy, yoga and fitness instructors, college/university professors, hospice providers and caregivers, physical therapists, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, post carriers, construction workers, and the list goes on. Among Sabrina's students, a large portion make up those who have been dissatisfied with or sensed something lacking in previous Reiki instruction.

What Type of Reiki Classes are Offered?

Two-Day Intensives
Sabrina's Two-Day Intensives are two- to two-1/2 day trainings which provide the student with a solid working foundation and knowledge of the system of Reiki. It takes students deep into Mikao Usui's more traditional teachings and techniques. These classes are best for the serious student, and for those who aspire to become professional practitioners, whether for him-/herself, the entire family, or the whole community. In-depth training up to Master-Teacher, with a secondary Animal Reiki Training optional.
